Warranty Claim Process
Submit the Warranty Form
Complete the Boat Lift Boss Warranty Form so we are aware that a claim has been opened.
Contact Extreme Max for Authorization
Extreme Max must issue a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) before any units are returned for service.
Provide Required Documentation
Warranty claims require:
- Proof of purchase or receipt
- A detailed description of the issue
The unit requiring service
Unit Inspection & Repair
Units within the two-year warranty period may be repaired after inspection. Warranty claims may be denied in cases of submersion, misuse, or conflicting motor dates.
Return Requirements
If a replacement unit is sent in advance, the defective unit must be returned within 30 days or the RGA will become invalid and the replacement unit may be billed.
Standard Warranty Returns
For warranty returns involving credit or replacement, the defective unit must be returned within 60 days or the RGA will become invalid.
