SH Distributing, Inc., a fast growing company, is a manufacturer, wholesale distributors and licensed transporter of quality marine and recreational products that specializes in trailers from Yacht Club, Sport Club, Eagle and our own Sport Haven brand. We also offer a full line of docks and boat hoists from Shore Master and Shoreline Industries. In addition to manufacturing and distribution, we represent several of the top-selling boat lines in the country, including Berkshire, South Bay, Trifecta and NauticStar.

Our warehouse in Burbank, Ohio, houses a wide selection of inventory delivered in our own fleet of trucks, ensuring that new boats or trailers arrive at their destination with the same care and quality

we put into our manufacturing.

The Driver is responsible for delivering trailers and products properly, timely, safely and efficiently using trained Company guidelines. The role inspects delivered loads for any deficiencies and makes sure that all are corrected. A successful candidate is a detail oriented, multi-tasker with the ability to handle assignments efficiently and accurately with a Class A CDL.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safe and proper use of various hand, air, power tools, ratchets and straps.
• Properly identify and inspect all loads for defects to ensure quality products.
• Inspects all connections to ensure loads are properly secured.
• Assures deficiencies are corrected or communicated as needed.
• Completes and forwards required paperwork and checklists as per the Company guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have reliable transportation.
• Provide Class A CDL and medical ODOT certification with acceptable driving record.
• Must be experienced or willing to learn the use of various tools and technology.
• Must be able to read and understand driving guidelines and directions.
• Mechanical aptitude a plus.
• Able to correctly maintain driver log book and fuel/trip logs.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop and/or sit for periods of time.
• Must be able to exert moderate effort with a lifting requirement of up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to Drive/Work 14hr days, 4 to 5 days in a row within DOT Guidelines
• Must have knowledge of DOT laws and terminology
